I used Canva for my infographic and I think it turned out pretty well! I am not as well versed on Canva and how to use its interface but I know that it is growing in popularity so I wanted to try it out. The website was pretty easy to learn and mess around with, most of the functions available are similar to Microsoft office with few distinctions. They had plenty of graphics even on the free version of the site so I did not feel like I was missing out on too much by not paying. All of the templates are cute and easily customizable so I had a lot of fun playing around with it
The only problem that I truly had with this site was layering and trying to reach the back layers of the pictures. On word, there is a clear window for choosing which layer I wanted without actually having to click it. As far as I could tell, that was not the case on Canva so I had to remove all of the items in front of the layer that I actually wanted in order to move customize it.
I want to remember the importance of color and visual aids while learning. I think that sometimes teachers can rely on lectures or group activities but I know for even myself, I needed a balance of all of the “learning styles.” In classes like history, I do well with audio learning but in something like math or science, seeing the topic definitely helped me more. I think infographics would be a great assignment to give since it allows them to make their own notes on a topics.
(Additionally if anyone has tips on how to do a hanging indent on here that would help because I am very lost)

I love your choice of color! The pictures go very well with it & the info!
I like your infographic! The colors are nice and I like the images you chose to fit your text. Great job!
