The Strategic Planning assignment was very effective and useful for librarians in the public sector as it created a probably situation we may encounter in our careers.  Creating an enrichment program for my library’s patrons required me to focus on their needs and make decisions based on the evidence collected by environmental scans.  Programs will be assessed for effectiveness and impact through the collection and evaluation of data.
