Overview:  The Future Trends assignment provided a novel glimpse into the library’s role in terms of futuristic trends.  Technology is an ever-expanding topic in the library world and the library’s use of technology-based gadgets, programs, and toys will be a major area of discussion in a librarian’s career.  I focused on “connected toys” for this particular assignment.
