This assignment allowed for taking a close look at the relationship between county, community, and a high school library. While working through this project I learned a lot about the school and community that I work for and how there is a lack of opportunity for many high school students outside of school. This assignment really allowed for me to think of ways that the library could impact students positively and help create new programs would better meet the needs of a specific group of students.
