  1. I also liked the Earth Rangers. The podcast that I listened to had great information for students to make connections and reinforce science lessons.

  2. Earth Rangers sounds like an excellent podcast for students with an engaging narrator. Thanks for sharing!

  3. I agree that podcasts would be very educational for students in the lbrary or classroom setting. You can find podcasts to fit almost anything that you are working on, so adding them in would be another way to get your kids’ attention.

    • Yes! There are so many podcasts on so many subjects! I think it’s important to make sure a quality one is chosen, but I love the possibilities.

  4. I think I will try vocaroo again. I would like to use it for students to record themselves and I want to see if it is easy for them to download and submit their recordings. You’ve listed a good number of reasons to have students practice recording their speaking or reading.

  5. Thank you for your review. I am interested in checking our Earth Rangers. You said it would hold the attention for the intended audience, what ages or grade levels are they targeting?
I’m also going to check out the voice recorder on 123Apps. I can see how these voice recorder tools would be helpful in so many ways for the classrooms and projects that link the classroom and the library, but if one doesn’t have a space for recording in a library they might be tricky.

    • Earth Rangers is most appropriate for late elementary through early middle school, but certain subjects may be applicable outside of that age range.
