Undergraduate research can be completed in many ways. Some of the popular experiences students choose to participate in include: the Eastern Virginia Medical School Apprenticeship course (HNRS 226, 3 academic credits), educational poster or oral presentation at a conference, publication of an article in a research journal, independent study, Honors Thesis, Undergraduate Research Experience for Undergraduates, or successful application for and completion of an Undergraduate Research Grant Project. Please come visit our advisors to see what experiences you have had that can count towards this degree! We love to hear about your research and explorations!
Please include the dates for your research experience, and submit to your Honors College Advisor or PerryHonorsCollege@odu.edu. We must see a full description of the project worked on for this requirement. Feel free to come in and talk to us if you are unsure whether your experience would count!
