Welcome to my librarianship e-portfolio!  These links and documents will fulfill my requirement for my MLIS program, as well as serve as a way to showcase my accomplishments for potential jobs.

I am a first grade teacher from Galax, VA.  I am currently in my 7th year of teaching!  I am fortunate enough to teach in the same elementary school I attended, and I have served in grades PreK-1, with the bulk of my experience in first grade.  I have a passion for reading and reading instruction and strive to help readers of all ages find literature they enjoy.  This passion led me to the Old Dominion University program.  I am hopeful to complete the program in Summer 2023 and be on my way to a public or school librarian position!
