For this sandbox, I used Canva to create an infographic.\u00a0 I was amazed at all the different types of infographics they had available with the templates.\u00a0 When I was looking at the comparison ones, it reminded me of a Venn diagram, only these had more graphics and more appeal than just two circles.\u00a0 I also thought it would be great to do a comparison infographic for fiction and nonfiction books with students\u2026and then I found one on Canva! \ud83d\ude42 Using infographics is a great idea for making posters in the library.\u00a0 Having an infographic to label parts of a book or about the meanings of the numbers in call numbers on spines of a book could be a way to incorporate infographics into a library.\u00a0 I also like the idea of using them for creating how-to visuals for students.\u00a0 For example, how to do self-check-out would be a great option for an infographic to show the steps and procedures for that.\u00a0 Or how to use the online card catalog.\u00a0 I would probably also use the comparison of fiction and nonfiction.\u00a0 I found Canva easy to use with lots of options for graphics and details to add to the infographics.\u00a0 It was easy to drag things to where they needed to go and change colors.\u00a0 I would definitely utilize the templates again to make it easier for me to create an infographic (again, I did feel overwhelmed with options like I did with the previous sandbox), but, with more experience, creating different things for the different roles in the library should become easier with time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
