Ooooh I love the idea of using Google Expeditions to connect to class read-alouds — or to entice a student, similar to book talks or reading small snippets. I read a middle grades series recently that has moments at famous locations in England, Paris, and Washington, D.C. I bet many of those locations are expeditions and could bring that to life in a new way! As an adult, I know what to envision when I think about The Globe Theater, for example, but many 8-9 year olds would not. Thanks for sharing that suggestion!

These are all really great ideas for using QR codes. I didn’t think about using them to give teachers information as well! I’d definitely like to try linking books to the Google Expeditions pages as it’s one of my favorite resources.
