Hello Everyone!

My name is Mary Jean Dutton and I am currently pursuing my Masters in Library and Information Studies with a school library concentration at Old Dominion University. I am currently in my fourth year of teaching middle school social studies. I eventually want to transition to working in the school library. Growing up I said I would either become a teacher or a librarian and being in a school library would let me combine my passions. I have always had a passion for reading, and I cannot wait to share this with students. My goal is to help students explore their own passions through books and learn to love reading as well.
