Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA)
The Young Adult Library Services Association is an organization created by the American Library Association. The goal of this organization is to provide resources for people who work in or with Young Adults libraries “to provide equitable, diverse and inclusive teen services” (ALA, n.d.). They want to make sure that all students have access to high quality library services. This is done by providing resources and professional development to librarians working with Young Adults.

Virginia Association of School Librarians (VAASL)
The Virginia Association of School Librarians is an organization created to support school librarians in Virginia. The organization works to make sure that school libraries have the staff and funds needed to support students. They do this by creating standards for school libraries and the state to create well-equipped libraries and staff.

Kiss the Book
Kiss the Book is a blog created by Cindy Mitchell in 2003. She created the blog while she was a middle school librarian to share book reviews. The blog features reviews from other librarians, and if you would like to submit a review, you can. I will be able to use this blog to learn more bout books for middle school students.

The Trapped Librarian is a website created by Laura trap who is an elementary school librarian. Free Technology for Teachers
Free Technology for Teachers was created by Richard Byrne, a high school computer science teacher. He wanted to create a website for other teachers to learn about free online resources or website to use in the classroom. I believe that I will be able to use this website to learn more about technology that I can use in the library. He also has a page dedicated for google tutorials that could be useful for myself or other teachers.

Knowledge Quest
Knowledge Quest is a journal created by the American Association of School Librarians. This journal is published from September through June to provide information and resources for school librarians. On their website they also have a blog and links to many resources. I will be able to use this journal as librarian to keep up with current topics in the library and find resources.
