In collaboration with Marie Connolly and Kasey Kriecar, I designed a collection plan for early elementary math. We used selection tools, sought a variety of formats, and focused on diversity and inclusion while developing a collection that would ignite reader interest while also preparing students for “college, career, and life” (AASL, 2019, p.6).
