This Grant Proposal was written for the AASL’s Collaborative School Library Award. It would create a library cafe, Tiger Cafe, at Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake, Virginia. The collaboration for this program would include business/marketing, culinary, and special education learners and teachers. Additionally, it would help mitigate some of the financial disadvantages a significant number of students in this community endure in future collaborations with AVID.
