I really liked creating this infographic with Piktochart once I got the hang of it. I started off exploring Canva but I found that it wasn’t as easy for me to navigate or change the templates. I like the idea of using this at the beginning of the school year, instead of the usual welcome letter that I do to introduce myself to parents and children. This is more visually catchy and fun to read. I think I would try having the students do one of their own to introduce themselves to their classmates in the fall. It would be a fun way to see what they can do!
I thought the same thing- this would be a great beginning of the year activity and a good introduction to creating infographics. I also think this is a good mix of graphics and text.
I agree with Molly, what a great activity for the beginning of the year so students could introduce themselves. I think this is super for teachers to use at “Back to School” night to introduce themselves to parents. Last year, my team just used a boring Google Slide show. I will have to share this idea with them. Your infographic had beautiful pastel colors with a bold border which makes it pop against the white space.
Hi Sarah,
This is such a cute way to introduce yourself and would be a really creative way for students to introduce themselves at the beginning of the year. I used Canva to create my infographic but I’ll have to check out Piktochart next time!
This would be a great beginning of the year activity for my 4th and 5th graders. Great idea for an infographic!
This is a great idea for welcome back! It is an easy way to introduce yourself to the families and a great way for them to meet each other. It’s be interesting to do it at the beginning and end of the school year and see how they have changed. My middle schooler had to do an infographic to advertise herself for running for SCA. I wish I would have been able to show her your awesome infographic.
I enjoyed your infographic about yourself. It it interesting to see all of the different you liked and disliked as a person. I liked the set up of your inforgraphic.
