Social Responsibilities Round Table
The Social Responsibilities Round Table is a great resource for finding articles, blogs, and general news about social and economic issues and how they pertain to librarianship. The Feminist Task Force is included in this Round Table and gives support to women in the field and methods of promoting social responsibility as a core value of liibrarianship.

Information Technology and Libraries
ITAL is a library journal that is published quarterly and provides valuable articles about all things within the world of libraries. Of particular interest to me is the information about digital preservation, archival work, and special collections. The technological aspect of librarianship is always growing and this is a great resource to work out any issues and gather knowledge about technical matters.

The magazine highlights trending topics and issues and is a great resource for the future generation of librarians.

RBM: A Journal of Rare Books, Manuscripts, and Cultural Heritage
RBM: A Journal of Rare Books, Manuscripts, and Cultural Heritage covers issues pertaining to special collections libraries and their ties to cultural heritage repositories. This is my area of interest and this journal contains amazing pieces of information, all digitally preserved and archived through Portico. This journal is also open access and free to the public, which is a great example of core library values aligning with my personal interest.
Virginia Library Association
This association is dedicated to ensuring access to information in Virginia through growth and development of its libraries. It is a membership association, but provides many connections in Virginia libraries like job listings, events and conferences, and scholarships. It is a great way to connect more locally with other librarians and take advantage of local opportunities.

Association for Library Collections and Technical Services
The Association for Library Collections and Technical Services is an organization that specializes in the technical side of librarianship, including preservation and archiving which I am very interested in. The organization works to develop and preserve inclusive and diverse collections. This is a great resource for network building and relevant publications.

The Shifted Librarian
This blog is from librarian Jenny Levine and explores what librarianship means in the digital age, and shares experiences and relevant articles. Levine focuses on digital privacy, the age of fake news, and how core values of the profession have evolved. I believe these are themes that all librarians regardless of library type have to face and understand in order to move forward.
