Advocacy is an imperative job for librarians.  We must be willing to advocate all costs for library programs, resources, and services in order to provide support to our community.  I wrote this letter to the editor of the Virginia Pilot to advocate for school library month and to encourage stakeholders to visit the library and explore all that it offers.  This letter shows my willingness to make connections with stakeholders and to advocate for not only visiting the school library but also for the resources that are available to all community members.
