This smart goal was created to collaborate with second-grade teachers to help students meet grade-level standards in summarizing stories. School testing data reflected a weakness in this reading standard across the grade level and this goal aids in student achievement. This demonstrates my ability to meet the standard of Leadership by assessing data and utilizing best practices to impact student achievement. The implementation of this smart goal also shows my strength as an instructional partner to the school community and my ability to collaborate with teachers to enforce literacy strategies.
