In LIBS 677, Knowledge Organization and Access, we were required to create a Pathfinder (also known as a libguide) on a topic and for a demographic of our choice utilizing web-based tools. We had to ensure that the libguide could serve as a useful starting point for information seekers by including directions on how to find resources independently. I created an Adult Beginners Guide to Manga targeted at parents desiring to understand manga’s appeal, teachers wanting to engage students, and curious minds looking for their next book to read for fun. After exploring a few web-based tools, I chose Tumblr. It is very user friendly.
