I have always been passionate about working with the book collection in a library. I chose to include this plan because of my passion and because this was one of the first times I was really able to develop a collection plan. This course allowed me to take a look at some of the areas of the children’s department and truly analyze areas of possible improvement. The paper is linked below and outlines a tentative plan for the Juvenile biography and nonfiction section as well as the addition of new technology for Slover Library. I also embedded a video walkthrough of this assignment because I learned so much about analyzing a collection through this assignment.
