I found the answer garden word cloud intriguing. I played around with a few different questions. It was an innovative way to make a collaborative word cloud. I could see it being used in a public library as a way for people to answer fun questions such as “What is your favorite genre?” or even something more meaningful like “What would you think is missing at the public library?” I think is an interesting and easy way to create community engagement. I also think answer garden would be an effective tool to use in a school library. I imaging asking a different question every week then reporting on the outcome the following week. I find that students enjoy having their voices heard and students of all ages could enjoy this interactive word cloud.

The traditional word cloud sites were interesting as well. I like the idea of students creating a word cloud to showcase their unique qualities. I think it is always a valuable exercise to have students self-reflect on their strengths. I found wordart.com to be fun because of all the different shapes. I also liked playing around with the font colors on this site. My only complaint about wordart.com is that I think the site would be difficult for some elementary students to use. The ABCYA word cloud seemed more accessible for the younger ones.
