SandBox #1- Word Cloud

Creating this word cloud was not as difficult as anticipated. I was able to easily navigate through Word ItOut. I would like to explore more with word cloud as I do understand that your key words should stand out. Also, the words I choose were from an introduction I used for an assignment, though appropriate I think my creation would have been different if I used random but purposeful words. I browsed AnswerGarden but I was unsure on what question to ask and how it would translate into a cloud. I can possibly try again to have a different experience.

I believe this would be a great project for rising 5th graders to accompany a read-aloud on describing what is unique about them and how do they see themselves. Our scholars did not bring their devices to library this year and I would like to change that for the upcoming year. This would be a fun project as we could share what makes each student different and how to respect others in who they are and how they see themselves.

I think it’s a great idea to have the students bring their devices to class so they can engage in fun tech activities. I agree that key words should stand out in your word cloud, but for a practice run this is really cute. I love the calm and cool colors you chose!
