This week on our assigned virtual field trip with Google Arts & Culture, I choose to explore Natural History. Once I selected this tab there were several additional tabs you could choose from, I choose Our feathered friends- The only remaining dinosaur. The tour of these wonderful birds was through different exhibits. Some exhibits had a panoramic view to them with a small description of the exhibit. There was an option for you to click the arrows which allowed a closer look at some of the birds. I enjoyed to visit and believe it is a quick way to introduce some to different way to experience a trip. Below is a QR code that will allow you to experience this field trip.

“Layered reality” is a way to introduce interactive content to scholars, patrons, and educators. As a new media specialist, I would like to learn how to create an “Augmented Reality Book Review using Reality Composer on iPad” ( Woolcock, 2020). As I viewed the video, I thought of conducting a collaborative lesson with our computer teacher for our fifth graders. This could be an exciting lesson with our new iPads being issued to our computer lab.

I like your QR code and the boarder around it. Which QR generator did you use that allowed you to have “Scan Me” at the bottom. I like that! The dinosaur field trip sounds like fun. We could spend so much time going back and seeing different field trips!
