I choose to listen to the Podcast \u201cBooks Between Podcast by Corinna Allen (Allen, 2019). This episode was a review of her top twenty books that year. This is a great informational tool for parents and students to determine what book would be their next read. \u00a0I was familiar with the titles; however, she did give a brief overview of each book. Coincidentally one of the books was one of my top circulated books this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I explored Voki\u2019s tools first, I watched the introduction video which gives an overview of the tools you can use. I think this tool can be used in a variety of lessons that would allow the scholars to explore using different avatar\u2019s that can represent themselves. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is my Voki: <a href=\"https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/2dpzekbp\">https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/2dpzekbp<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I choose the above voice, because it was the only one who pronounced my last name correctly. This is a statement I use to calm my scholars down when they are too loud, works like a charm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clyp has a basic membership of two dollars a month. I think is better to find a tool that is free. I did view a tutorial and listened to the sample on the site. The directions seem simple with how to record the sound. I am unsure how this tool would benefit my students and how I could incorporate it into my lessons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AudioPal was like Voki, you needed to type your words in the text-box and then it would be translated and spoken. The instructions are simple, I believe scholars could use this with little instruction. I think this a great tool for when you have a substitute and can email your students their assignments with verbal directions.
