My experience with the ePortfolio was a fun. It helped me track my first semester in secondary education. The essays assigned made me think about how college is a lot different from high school. I learned how planning and being a good strategist is so imperative to having success. Writing these journal summaries made me think about my study habits, choosing when to do homework and study, changing how I take notes in different classes to help me understand what I’m learning better. I think it was fun as well because I like writing sometimes but I don’t do it very often. This gave me the opportunity to write whatever is on my mind. I don’t take the ePortfolio very seriously because I just see it as a journal for me to write about what I want. It helped me discover this website because for a while I’ve been looking for a website to write blogs and an alternative to open and online store. I used to use another website for my small business but it was too expensive to get use their tools to make my site look more professional. As I stated earlier, I love writing however I don’t do it much. This experience made me write more often and I discovered that I like reading as well. I’ve been reading “What They Don’t Teach You at Harvard Business School” by Mark H. McCormack. It’s a book that talks about real struggles businesses go through and strategies for making more profit.
