Since the beginning of the class I believe I have seen a slight improvement from paper one to paper two, but I have really been able to see where I need to work on instead. After looking at the comments on my first paper and being able to see what I did wrong was very helpful in writing the second paper. Also, being able to go back and declare what my weakness vs my strengths are and adjust my writing accordingly. For example in the first paper a major problem that was pointed out was my tendency to create run on sentences. As a result of this in the second paper and any papers I write in the future I will keep an eye open to prevent myself from doing this again. This would be done by breaking ideas up using the proper punctuation such as commas, semicolons, and periods in the right places.  Another problem in the first one was that It was not formatted to have 5 paragraphs this was a problem that was easily fixed in writing the second paper. It just comes from making an introduction having three or more paragraphs that go along with the main idea and then a conclusion that wraps everything up that was said without repeating anything word for word. Switching from one point of view to a completely different one has been something I have done but never really paid much attention to it until looking at the editing skills checklist and it really came to my attention that it is really a problem, but just like the with the 5 paragraphs this doesn’t require anything drastic to change it, a simple rereading of the paper and looking that all the pronouns agree with each other would be all it takes to make that right. Looking at all of these things really allows me to understand where I am in my writing abilities and see how I have to go to be a good writer.
