In the digital world, cyber networks are susceptible to threats and attacks imposed by exterior outlets. There are certain measures that can be taken to limit these threats and combat attacks against sensitive and private information such as training and implementing a strong cyber security network in general. Engineers can also play a role in keeping cyber networks safe from threats and attacks. Cybersecurity engineers can not only help identify threats, but also implement systems to combat cybersecurity attacks which make a cyber network much safer overall. Once a cybersecurity threat has been identified, an engineer will then work with and around the vulnerabilities and strengths of the cyber network system to combat the cyber attack. Engineers can also provide a cyber security network with a way to stay up to date by identifying the weak spots and vulnerabilities of a cyber system and making them stronger in order to be safer in the event of a cyber threat. Engineers serve as a safeguard for the whole cyber network in a way because they act to not only identify threats, but to fix and make the cyber network stronger in the event of a cyber attack. Engineers trace the threats imposed on a cyber security network which allows the engineers to be ready and more prepared if there is a cyber threat or cyber attack on the network system. Engineers make cyber networks safer because they are constantly updating and making weak points in a network stronger. Without engineers, cyber networks would lag behind and have vulnerabilities in a cyber attack. A strong cyber network is important in the modern world because cyber attacks and cyber criminals are becoming more prominent. With cyber security being of increased importance, so are engineers as they serve to make cyber networks stronger and more prepared for cyber attacks.
