As a Cybersecurity major, I’m building strong technical skills in computer systems, networking, and information security. I have experience working with Linux systems and using the command line to manage files, users, and permissions. I understand basic network concepts like IP addressing, routers, switches, and how data moves across networks.
I’m Microsoft certified, which shows that I have verified technical knowledge and understand core IT and security concepts. I’m familiar with cybersecurity principles such as risk management, basic encryption, access control, and identifying common cyber threats like phishing and malware.
I also have experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, understanding virtual machines, and working with operating systems like Windows and Linux. I’m developing skills in ethical hacking concepts, security best practices, and protecting systems from vulnerabilities.
On top of my technical skills, I have strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and good time management. I stay organized, work well independently or in a team, and I’m always looking to improve and learn more in the cybersecurity field.
