Throughout the semester, I completed a wide range of labs that gradually built my confidence and skills in Linux. I started with the basics, such as using commands like ls, cd, and cp, and learning how to navigate the file system efficiently. From there, I moved on to more advanced tasks involving permissions, process management, and system configuration, which helped me understand how Linux operates at a deeper level. As the course progressed, I gained hands-on experience with networking tools, scripting, and automation, eventually learning how to write and run shell scripts to simplify tasks. I also explored cybersecurity-focused labs, including password cracking exercises that demonstrated how attackers think and how system security can be strengthened. Overall, the labs provided a strong foundation in both practical Linux usage and cybersecurity concepts, giving me skills I can confidently apply in real technical environments.
