Dream Job

My dream job is to be a physical therapist. This career is a perfect intersection of what I love to do: helping others and understanding how the human body works and heals. As a physical therapist, I would help people recover from injuries, regain their mobility, and, therefore, lead better lives.

I love this career because I get to impact people’s health and well being in an actual tangible way. I want to be part of their journey toward healing and strength whether it’s helping an athlete get back on the field or guiding someone through recovery after surgery.

Working in such a dynamic environment as a rehabilitation center, sports facility or private clinic I see myself engaging in teamwork with other healthcare professionals and use their ways of treatment and innovated technics for providing the best care to patients.

My goal for this motivates me to do well in my classes as an exercise science major at ODU, and I will subject myself to the knowledge and skill requirements needed for success in this field. I’m excited to work toward this dream working with hands on learning experiences, internships and continued professional development and making a difference in people’s lives.
