France has accused Russia’s military intelligence (GRU) of carrying out cyberattacks on French organizations, including those related to the 2024 Paris Olympics and President Macron’s 2017 election campaign. French officials say the GRU’s APT28 group, also known as Fancy Bear, has targeted multiple sectors in France since 2021. The attacks are linked to Russia’s ongoing conflict with Ukraine. France has condemned these actions and pledged to fight back against further cyber threats, especially with upcoming elections in 2027.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
