Explain how the principles of science relate to cybersecurity.

The definition of science is the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation, experimentation, and the testing of theories against the evidence obtained. When we relate this to cybersecurity, we can say that the “study” is the question of a firewall’s security against attacks. We observe a problem like a failure in structure find ways to protect the structure from future attacks and experiment with certain defense measures. Then the testing phase would be a white hat hacker or an ethical hacker trying to hack into the firewall and see if the implemented changes withhold any unauthorized access to the farmwork.
