I scored a 92 on this exam which was pretty surprising to me and made me so happy. I always try to take enough time to study the information and review the materials. I tend to not study to long because one of my teachers from high school used to say “If you study long, you study wrong”. I spent about three or four days reviewing the material in preparation for the exam. I did well on the exam and I was beyond satisfied with my score. For the next two exams I plan to implement the same strategy.

I have always thought that music brings people together. Music can also serve as a connecting influence between two or more people. It aids in the improvement of connections and interaction, which is the first indicator of a good relationship. My boyfriend and I both like the some type of music though my family do not.

For your blog entry, discuss the type of student you believe yourself to be. Describe your current level of confidence as a student and discuss what factors you believe could possibly increase your confidence levels. Finally, explain your self-efficacy results in relation to your task accomplishments.

The type of student I believe I am is a confident and successful. I am very hard working and strive for excellence. Though I can have a hard time in many different courses, I still put in the hard work . My current level of confidence as a student would be about a 7 of 10 because there many things I can improve on. Such as taking my time on assignments, reading instructions more carefully because there have been times where I have read to fast and done an assignment wrong. My results were a 33 out of 40.

Deans List

I chose this image because this was the second time my name was on the Deans List. I was beyond excited because there have been plenty of times where I wanted to drop out of college because I thought it was not for me but, I prove myself wrong every semester.

I believe that all of the course objectives will be useful to me at some point in the future. I’d like to specialize in children’s disorders as a psychiatrist. I’m wanting to learn more about the many approaches to assisting persons with behavioral disorders. I’d also like to learn what to do in a variety of situations when I’m stumped. To be successful in this course I will read through the directions carefully and ask for help when needed.

Here is an image illustrating the concept from the readings:

Because correlational research examines the link between two variables, I chose to use this image. Surveys, observations, and archival data analysis are among the approaches used.
