Margaritaville in Negril

March 10 2019

Today we went to Margaritaville in Negril but, first, like the Children of God we are trying to be, we went to church. Like American churches, the service was long yet filled with good scriptures to guide us in the way we need to go. In another sense, though, it was unlike any US church I’ve been to. This Margaritaville is NOTHING like its sister establishment in MoBay but that story is coming later on my page. Anyways, we stopped for snacks before heading there and to my surprise the big bags of doritos were $8 compared to the US price of no more than $5-$6 AFTER tax. With that being said you know I did not buy them. On our way to Margaritaville we stopped at an old military war ground (or something along those lines) to take pictures. Even though we went during the day, it was still eerie. Being on grounds so close to deep, rocky water where people could have possibly died didn’t sit right with me so I took my pictures and left. The trip from there to Margaritaville was not as fun as you’d think it was because of Fun’s greatest enemy: rain. Arriving at Margaritaville there was a slight drizzle which gave us hope that we might get to enjoy the water after eating. Thankfully, we did  not let a little rain dampen our fun. We still got in the water, took pics, and tired ourselves out. We came to the beach as classmates and left as lifelong friends.
