calligraphy and chapbook workshop

Join us for our inaugural workshop! Inspired by textual practice assignments in Dr Margaret Kilcline’s 701-801 Text Technologies course PhD students Xianzhong Meng and Bridget Dolan will lead a workshop on November 7, 2024 (12:30-1:30PM) on Chinese calligraphy and chapbook making. Come learn the art of calligraphy and chapbook folding and sewing techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to create and take home their own chapbook. Open to undergraduates, graduate students and interested faculty.
