I will graduate from Old Dominion University in the spring of 2025 with a major in cybersecurity and a minor in computer science. My work lies at the nexus of developing technologies, strategy, and security. My goal is always the same, whether I’m working with AI, conducting risk assessments, or coaching peers: long-term value, ethical influence, and transparent judgments.
I was raised between Virginia and Northern Nigeria, which gave me a unique perspective on systems, resilience, and leadership. That dual background influences how I move through technical environments—quietly, intentionally, and with a strong sense of responsibility.
Professionally, I’ve completed multiple internships focused on cybersecurity risk, AI governance, and public sector resilience. I’ve worked on state election infrastructure, published research on generative AI policy, and built cloud compliance projects using AWS. I’ve also held on-campus roles in IT support and residential life, which sharpened my communication and operational skills.
After graduation, I plan to move to Atlanta or Northern Virginia to work in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), with a focus on cloud security or AI risk. I’m also building an AI automation business on the side, combining outreach systems with ethical tech practices.
Long-term, I’m interested in how technology can be used to protect, not just scale, and how leadership starts with clarity, not noise.
