Hello world! I am pretty certain that I’m one of the older students on the campus of Old Dominion University, and it’s been quite an experience! I am a retired veteran, serving 24 years in the United States Navy. Rather than continue my military profession in the civilian sector, I decided to bet on myself and pursue a career in Exercise Science\/Recreational Therapy field. Our college program offers amazing opportunities, and I’m confident that I’ve made the right decision!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Born in Brooklyn, New York, a melting pot, perhaps the largest in our country-I’ve always been fascinated with learning about other cultures. My travels while in service took me to several corners of the world, but I missed out on Spanish speaking nations. The online course experience was definitely different from your traditional classroom setting, but I have gained valuable knowledge to carry forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
