To ensure the availability of the system, it needs to be up-to-date and for it to work when it’s needed. To be able to keep any system going, we need to Maintain and Repair Equipment through preventative and scheduled maintenance. Even though backups may be available and up-to-date, numerous things can happen with the equipment that can cause bigger problems and concerns. It is important to have a plan developed if these problems do occur so that we can efficiently and effectively maintain the system and ensure the system is properly functioning whenever it’s needed. It is important that the company or team understands and can access their system so that they may diagnose the issue or to have a team of technicians on standby in case further repair or troubleshooting work is needed. In the business, we prioritize availability and responsiveness. Failing to do so can lead to customer dissatisfaction, damage to the reputation of the company and increased vulnerability. Keeping the system actively available and being able to respond to ongoing issues at a moment’s notice can prove the effectiveness, success and overall value of a company’s ability to maintain and manage a strong, functional system.
