The increase in cyber technology has reduced the physical interactions between offenders and victims. The offender can be anywhere in the world or your next-door neighbor. They could be someone down the street scanning an area for signals to hack. As more and more devices come online the more devices people can use to hack to access a system. The offender no longer must be someone sitting behind a desk on their computer screen. They could be in the car next to you using their phones. Cyber technology might have decreased physical interactions but has increased how much and often a person could be vulnerable to an attack.
