The first country cybersecurity risk I will discuss is the United States. In the Cybersecurity Risks In The USA article, it states how malware “continues to remain persistent in today’s digital world, with malware ranging from stealing information, denying access to programs, deleting files, and spreading itself on other systems.” This is great example of the risk this country is in, along with Europe and any other country on the Earth. In the article I read, it stated that there is a “specialized European cybercrime centre that is been created within Europol to help EU countries investigate online crimes and dismantle criminal networks.” This proves Europe is aware of the malware risk also and have taken the initial steps to defend the cybercrime. Europe believes that an open and secure cyberspace can create greater trust among citizens in digital tools and services. Both countries take their cyber risk very serious, which is why I decided to compare Europe to the United States. Each country has a key plan on how they plan to stay adapted and up to date to possible threats and risks. With a certified plan like the United States, Europe’s connected devices and networks that make up the “Internet of Things, play a key role in further shaping Europe’s digital future, and so will their security.”

Source:

https://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/policies/cybersecurity/

Cybersecurity Risks In The USA

The two countries I will be comparing cybersecurity risks on is the Unites States and Europe. Both countries cybersecurity risks are very similar risks because of the continuous increase of cyberattacks over the last several years. Some of the top cybersecurity risk I will name that both countries go through are ransomware and malware, phishing,…

[1
