I would add many factors. Including firewalls which protects you from outside cyber attacks while shielding your computer or network from purposeful or not needed network jams. Which also protects you from hackers that are trying to access your computer through the internet. While also protecting valuable data and vulnerable systems. I would then encrypt my data which would mean that if the hackers get unauthorized access to the vulnerable data that they wouldn’t have the information and correct key for the encryption. I would have network monitoring to make sure there is nothing new that we haven’t seen before. And that if there is any issues we can correct and fix them while they are small. Which also creates great practices that would help any company and reduce the risk of cyber threats that would leak and steal valuable data. The next step would be having malware and antivirus protection to create another security blanket to help protect the network from unauthorized users from trying to destroy, take, or steal valuable data. Would have to create strong passwords to help the lower the risk of more threats. Would also create two factor authentication which we see now in banks and college education. Which would lower the risk from unauthorized users trying to access the data of someone that would be authorized to get the data or access the system. I would try and inform employees on cyber security and threats while having meetings to show them what to look for and what to be cautious about. And make sure employees are keen to know how to prevent cyber security hacks for the company. And to make sure that they won’t make small mistakes that might affect a huge spread of the company that could be easily prevented with small meetings.
