My major is Nursing and I chose that major because I’ve always wanted to be a nurse or work in healthcare in general but what really solidified it for me was when my father got sick with Pulmonary Fibrosis. I became one of his main caregivers during the time I was also in tech in high school to become a CNA and it was a hands on experience for me. Despite the fact my father was sick, the things I was learning things in class I was also doing at home so I had a personal patient that I could be practicing on how to actually do those things in real time.
