Deconstruction was a theory that really changed the way I looked at literature. My professor mentioned that you ought to be careful when looking at some of your favorite works as a deconstructionist because it might just ruin them. In essence, this theory shows both sides to an argument in a piece of literature that might normally only show one. For this essay, the standard claim would be a criticism on infidelity, but my piece works to show why sexual escapades benefit a marriage.
