Hello,
My name is Wesley Myers and I am a Junior at Old Dominion University. I decided to come to ODU since I grew up in this area and for the offered programs for community service and AROTC. Having been in this area my whole life it’s become a goal of mine to continue the adventures life I so enjoy in new places. Camping, hiking, running, building, tinkering, and generally anything hands-on is my happy place. I love getting unique physical obstacles and finding ways to overcome them. Tragically, this doesn’t always extend into the classroom!
Regarding the MET330 Fluid Mechanics course I am finding out that it has helped me connect better with fellow engineers in the community and provided a deeper understanding of another set of challenges faced by engineers. Fluid Mechanics is proving to be incredibly helpful in terms of understanding and becoming knowledgeable in the study of fluids which are an everyday part of our lives. However, while the course lends itself to be an excellent class in terms of the degree curriculum, I do not see it being very prevalent in my future unfortunately.
