1- Political

2. Money

3. Revenge

4. Recognition

5. Multiple Reasons

6. Entertainment

7. Fun

I ranked all the motives the way I did because hacking for political reasons made the most sense. After all, it helps support movements exposes corporations, and shuts down apps that support right-wing extremists and hate groups. I ranked fun as number seven because it didn’t make sense for someone to hack for fun, especially with the risks of hacking, such as legal troubles. I ranked money as number 2 because some people wanted to steal as much money from corporations as possible for example hacking banks to get account information. I ranked revenge as number 3 because for example an ex-employee wants to get revenge against the company that they used to work for and they do so by hacking the company. Recognition was ranked at number 4 because I can see why people hack for that reason. After all, hacking would bring attention and possibly get them recognition from the media.
