This article relates to the principles of the social sciences because the study talks
about the principle determinismbecause it taks about potential reasons why an offender
would commit cybercrimes.The principle relativism can be applied to thestudy because
it talks about the links between cybercrime and social media. Psychology is also stated
in the article because it talks about the mental health when it comes to being afraid of
being victimized when it comes to cybercrimes. The types of research methods that
were used in the study was cross-sectional methods, questionnaire, and a procedure
and data analysis to conduct the study. Another research was qualitative research when
they conducted the questionnaire about cybercrime fear levels. The contributions of the
studies of relates to the concerns of younger people especially college students when it
comes to cybercrime risks. This study relates to the concerns of younger people
because the article talks about the fear that they have of being victims of cybercrimes
.The contributions of the study to society is that it talks about the risks of cybercrimes
and how we can avoid being victims of cybercrimes.
