TRANSLATION #1

I have done four Translations for this course each having different themes to Translate. For the first translation is about a comic on Asterix and the Big Fight. I had to translate from English to Spanish, including giving my opinion before translating and after. During these translations assignments there is a noticeable improvement for each translations. I noticed that with practice I am able to improve.

The second translation included translating from Spanish to English. The piece of fragment that was used from the “La Noche Boca Arriba.” Furthermore I had to identify the different syntax and giving an example. I also had to compare the two English translated verisons with each other.

The third translation is about an improving a section on the Spanish Virtual tour at Old Dominion University. The first translation is from Spanish to English, it’s a literal translation. The next Translation is the recommended Spanish version, it goes alongside better with the visual aids and the theme.

This translation is from Spanish to English, with idioms in Spanish figuring out the same idioms but in English. Also this also consist of writing my own definition from the terms. Additionally including my translation and my refection about the challenges on translating the book parody from Twilight.
