This Practicum was an internship as a Spanish Interpreter at Chesapeake Care Clinic. I have gain a considerable amount of experience with the help of the internship. Gave me a preview of the tasks for being a Spanish Interpreter. I have intern for 147 hours in this clinic, by interpreting with patients via in-person and on telephone. My responsibilities as a Spanish Interpreter was to stay current with Spanish Voicemails or any Medical patient cases that has been given to me. The medical patient cases are referred to any available interpreter to assist with the patient/ doctor. It can vary from their expired medications to eligibility needing to be renewed. In the reflections has my experiences in great depth in English. By explaining my improvements compared to my first day to my last day as intern.
