Internet/computer users also need to be aware of the different types of hacking attacks such as phishing, in order to avoid becoming a victim to that. Installing antivirus software such as Norton or McAfee can safeguard against spyware/ransomware and remove viruses from your computer awe well.

Computers have also been crucial in keeping the world safe but have also created more risks as well. Three ways that computers have decreased safety would be that they are prone to hackers and cybercriminals that try to destroy, steal, or damage intellectual property/information, affected peoples privacy, and created an ongoing, and persistent need for technology, as we as society are completely dependent upon technology.
