Phishing scams are a type of social engineering attack that involves tricking individuals into divulging sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, credit card numbers, or other personal information.

As my group innovation for “security training program for social engineering.” Phishing is one of the most common types of social engineering attacks, and it typically involves sending an email, or message that appears to be from a legitimate source, such as bank, social media site, or e-commerce platform. The message often contain a link to a fake login page or a malicious attachment that, when, clicked, will install malware on the victim’s device.
