I\u2019m Nathan Hallberg, a Cybersecurity major at Old Dominion University with an interest in system security, hands-on learning, and<\/em> high level cybersecurity (Military\/government). My goal is to build a career in cybersecurity through continuous learning and real-world experience.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am a sophomore at Old Dominion University, majoring in Cybersecurity with an expected graduation in 2028. Throughout my schooling so far I have focused on developing a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, becoming familiar with cybersecurity basics, and learning programming languages. I have taken CYSE201, and are currently enrolled in CYSE270 (Linux), and CYSE200.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outside of academics, I\u2019m actively involved in campus life through the ODU Fishing Club, Sigma Pi fraternity, and the Cyberlink Club, where I continue to grow my network and apply cybersecurity concepts in these different settings. I have a passion for the outdoors and enjoy traveling with my family in my free time. After completing my undergraduate degree, I plan to pursue a Master\u2019s in Cybersecurity to deepen my expertise and broaden my career opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n
